Revenue Model

NTF is an organization whose revenue is chiefly for the following three purpose:

• Maintenance and enhancement of the library.
• Self sustainability of it’s infrastructure, establishment & HR
• Publications

Revenue sources of NTF are:

• Royalty from the published books. Majority of the books were either written or edited by Mrinal taklukdar and he does not take royalty from them and give it to the corpus of the NTF
• Proceeds from the Published books are also placed in the corpus
• Second party publications: NTF provides service as content developers and publishers for others.
• Social Audits: This is one of the major sources of revenue where NTF provides it’s services as social auditors to approaching organizations, chiefly governmental organizations who wish to have an assessment of the ventures undertaken by them.
• CSR related projects : On invitation, the NTf do participate in the CSR backed projects or social forestry. The savings of the projects are added to the corpus.
• Endowment: The Foundation has been receiving endowment from individuals both for specific causes as well as goodwill gestures for augmentation of the cause of the Foundation.
• The corpus is now handled by investment vehicles and monthly income of the same is routed back to the NTF for day to day use.
