NTF continues with it’s task of facilitating the researchers of Assamese language. It facilitated 178 researchers and 94 doctoral studies from the library till date.  

NTF evaluated two organizations funded by CAPART in the rural areas of Nagaon district of Assam.

SIRD inviteed NTF to monitor and evaluate their work in the Brahmaputra valley. It was an uphill task that saw NTF covering 11 districts, 250 villages spending nearly six months of time with a team of nine persons. The findings were brought put in the form of a book.

As a mark of recognition to the work done by NTF so far, different organizations and individuals came forward with financial aid to enhance the cause of the foundation further. SIRD once again commissions NTF with the task of carrying out a Social Audit on Chief Minister’s Jeevan Jyoti Swaniyojan Yojana. It is a new intervention with radical approach of targeting the people living above the poverty line for better success of the government projects.

The Foundation joined hands with Children Literary Trust of Assam and came up with republications of three popular children magazine of yesteryear- Jonbai edited by Late nanda Talukdar in sixties.

The Foundation was commissioned by the Cane & Bamboo Technology Centre(CBTC) to prepare a book on Bamboo. Here the Foundation played the role of Content provider on payment basis.

The NTF so far used its good will twice to organize the civil society for a greater cause.
